Rene Wooller

Rene finished LEMu 1.0 through his masters of music at QUT.  Now he is doing a PhD scholarship for the next three years, focusing on developing new compositional theories and techniques that can be applied to non-linear music. He like jamming, programming,  composing, philosophising, instrument making, sailing and wing-chun.

Nick Coleman

Through the New Media course Nick has focused on becoming a techno music producer. With almost a decade of experience in the underground techno music scene in Melbourne, many of his ideas have been used to craft LEMu through the early years. Nick well-known in underground Brisbane for cutting to the chase and performs almost on a daily basis as a DJ/Electronic Musician in Melb'.

 

Matt Petoe

Matt...  Yes, those are capacitors that he is eating.  He munches on circuits for breakfast, which makes his face go bluey-purple.   With his extensive electronics background, Matt is mad keen to develop  physical musical interfaces amoing other things.  He is studying and tutoring in electrical engineering at the University of Queensland.

The perpetrator of such projects as "richie's electric playground", Richie is on a constant national tour, leaving a trail of cool musical gizmos and experiences behind him.  With people like this, who needs the MIT Media Lab?

Andrew Strelnikov

Andrew Strelinkov is a graduate of industrial design at QUT. For his final year project he completed some excellent designs for a physical interface. He has done some extended designs for various grants we have gone for...  We can't release his photo publicly, as he is being hunted down by the KGB.
